California Woman Sees No Charge After Being Arrested For Felony Assault

Dec 29 2015, by Jessica McElfresh in Assault, Case Results

A night of drinking with friends resulted in a California woman in her mid-20s being charged with felony level assault. A few hours later, the woman began searching for her car in the urban setting and called over to her friends once she found her vehicle. Out of nowhere, a drunk man ran out of his house with an unknown object in his hand, throwing what turned out to be only his cell phone at the woman’s side rear view mirror for disturbing his evening. The same man then called the police, claiming that she was attempting to run him over with her vehicle. Various bystanders in the vicinity were claiming the same events against the woman. As a result, she was arrested on the spot for felony assault.

At once, the young woman contacted skilled California attorney Jessica McElfresh for legal assistance in this severe matter. After speaking with the district attorney, the felony assault charge was dropped against attorney McElfresh’s client.

The outcome of an individual case depends on a variety of factors unique to that case. Case results do not guarantee or predict a similar result in any similar or future case.
