McElfresh Responds to Proposed State-Regulated Marijuana Rules in Interview

Medical marijuana attorney Jessica McElfresh was quoted in a piece by the San Diego Tribune after responding to the proposed marijuana rules. One such rule would require dispensaries to define whether marijuana is sold to medical patients or recreational users – prohibiting both. This proposal was meant to gain confidence in dispensaries from community users. “No one loves change,” she said. “But I haven’t heard anybody jump up and down and say that any one part of this was unworkable.
