Misdemeanor Disorderly Conduct & Drunk in Public Dismissed

May 07 2015, by Jessica McElfresh in Case Results, Criminal Convictions, Misdemeanor

Jessica McElfresh was recently contacted by a 20-year-old female college student from a nearby University who became drunk one evening while on campus with friends. Our client became separated from her friends and went to a building to knock on the front door. The residents of the home heard the loud knocking and called the police who responded arresting our client charging her with 1st Degree misdemeanor disorderly conduct and 1st degree misdemeanor drunk in public.

During her arrest the officers discovered our client had an outstanding warrant on a previous failure to appear for misdemeanor petty theft. Our client contacted attorney Jessica McElfresh to defend her against these charges. Our San Diego criminal defense attorneys successfully negotiated the dismissal of all misdemeanor charges against our client in both the current and previous cases.

The outcome of an individual case depends on a variety of factors unique to that case. Case results do not guarantee or predict a similar result in any similar or future case.
