Multiple Fake ID Charges at SDSU Dismissed

Jan 09 2019, by Jessica McElfresh in Alcohol, Case Results

When a young man was charged multiple alcohol-related offenses near SDSU, he contacted attorney Jessica McElfresh to deal with the various issue. Officers approached him and some friends because they suspected they were drinking, and when questioned, the man not only had a fake ID, coincidently he had another person’s fake ID on his person too. Subsequently, he was charged with being a minor in possession, in addition to facing separate charges for the two false ID’s.

Attorney McElfresh recognized her client’s escalated situation and negotiated for the best possible outcome. In the end, she arranged to have all the charges dismissed based on performing 16 hours of community service and staying out of trouble for six months. Due to attorney McElfresh’s early and effective intervention, this young man would be spared from multiple convictions on his record.

The outcome of an individual case depends on a variety of factors unique to that case. Case results do not guarantee or predict a similar result in any similar or future case.
