Underage Girl Charged With Possession Gets Charge Reduced to Disturbing the Peace

Feb 21 2018, by Jessica McElfresh in Alcohol, Case Results

A young woman recently used a fake ID to purchase alcohol at a music festival. As a result, she was charged with two misdemeanors for underage alcohol possession and having a false ID. With the help of McElfresh Law, an agreement was made to stay out of trouble for six months and attend a Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) course. Once these conditions are met, the misdemeanor will be dismissed, and she will only have an infraction for disturbing the peace.

The outcome of an individual case depends on a variety of factors unique to that case. Case results do not guarantee or predict a similar result in any similar or future case.
