Region’s only legal pot shop opens (U-T San Diego)

Long-awaited, San Diego County’s only legal medical marijuana dispensary has opened as of July. The dispensary is located just outside El Cajon. Nationally, medical marijuana dispensaries are on the rise across 23 states where medical use is legal. This marks a change for San Diego in getting up to speed with the national trends.
