Military Woman Found with Marijuana Receives Reduced Penalty

Sep 20 2017, by Jessica McElfresh in Case Results, Drug Crimes, Marijuana Charges

In California, possession of marijuana on a military base is a serious matter since it is strictly prohibited in military service. Not long ago, a woman was found with a small amount of marijuana while leaving a local military base and was charged with possession. This exposed her to some very significant penalties and a lasting mark on her record, so she reached out to a San Diego criminal defense lawyer at McELfresh Law. To protect the woman’s best interests, attorney Jessica McElfresh negotiated to have her client’s case dismissed once she paid a small fine and performed 15 hours of volunteer work.

The outcome of an individual case depends on a variety of factors unique to that case. Case results do not guarantee or predict a similar result in any similar or future case.
